Field Trip to Piano Trends Warehouse
Piano Students of Bobbi 10 and under received a treat getting to take a field trip to the piano warehouse at Piano Trends Music this past July. Tim took apart the famous Blue Baldwin Grand piano for the kids. This was the same piano they all played on in their recital at Raue Center a few weeks earlier.
They all learned how a piano works just a little bit better and their questions kept Tim on his technical toes. Pictured is 9 year old Tess learning to take a hammer, shank and flange off of a piano action. Each student was able to keep the hammer they removed plus they each had the opportunity remove their favorite key from this demo action and take that home as a souvinir of their visit. The trip ended with a quick visit to DQ for ice cream cones.
If you would like to schedule a small group to take a piano warehouse field trip just contact Tim or Bobbi directly and we will be glad to set it up for you.
